Sanne van de Goor is an artist and designer based in Amsterdam.
Her practice moves between graphic design and autonomous work.
Her work explores the cultural impact of abstract motifs and colour through the lens of sociological observation, focusing on everyday patterns shaped by habits, (unforeseen) behaviour and time. She investigates the underlying codes of visual language and expression.
Working on both self-initiated and commissioned projects, her practice is informed by her studies at the Gerrit Rietveld academie and her experience as a book designer, with a current focus on graphic and tactile interpretations.
